Running Mac OS X 10.4.11 (latest updates), Quark 7.3, and latest driver for Phaser 7760GX.

Tried the Quark Cups update but it failed to install.
Found some updated Xerox CUPS drivers but were for the 7750 series.

When printing, nothing happens. Job goes then disappears.

Only solution is to make a PDF and then print that through Preview or Acrobat. The designers are sneering and asking me how much Indesign training will cost... :(

R u able to generate PS and is drag and drop the PS works?

No luck. Though I will try a tip about modifying the Xerox PPD...I won't know till next week when I return from a trip.

I had the same issue with printing to XEROX printer in my office. Although it did print stuff this week but today not only it didn't print anything but I lost the printer all together. Meaning I don't see the driver to XEROX workcentre 7132 in my print menu box to select and send the job to!! The printer is not where to be seen! This is most bazar cause now all the other programs can't be printed such PDF docs and so on. Can anyone help with this issue do I need to re instal the driver from the XEROX website or need some sort of update to grab off their site?

I tried restarting the program (quark) and my computer and the only printer I have is Adobe PDF 7.0 under printer list. When i click add printer there is nothing to add.

I asked Quark about a similar problem with my Phaser 8550. They sent me a replacement PPD and it works fine.

Has anyone found a fix for printing to the Xerox Phaser 7760?
I have had nothing but grief since buying this machine. We have downloaded the most recent driver and it worked until we shut down at night and then the driver disappeared from the menu and back we are with generic and unable to print to custom sizes or banners. Been outsourcing for 6 months for anything that matters and losing money.

We have the same printer (7760GX), and since downloading the latest CUPS filter (don't remember from where – Xerox's site or Quark's site) we have had no problems whatsoever with this good Printer.

Also, you should upgrade to 7.31 – works beautifully here.
