    Data extraction

    When i get "bounds" of a picture box, the list different.

    ex: {«data FXVM00116A0B», «data FXHM0007447E», «data FXVM003CBDFE», «data FXHM002F9EF1»}

    how do i extract the integer/real of this equivalent?

    i'm using Quark 5 and OSX 10.3

    thank you very much.

    Data extraction

    Hi Ritche,

    I've heard of this problem before and it has to do with passing data though the Classic emulator. In essence, your application (Quark) operates on the Classic side of the emulator while Applescript runs on the OSX side. Applescript seems to get confused with the data coming from the Classic side (probably because of Quark's way of "typing" them).

    I do not know of a definite solution other than :[list=1:cd08fc7437]
  • Running your scripts under OS 9
  • Getting Quark 6 and running your scripts under OS X
  • [/list:o:cd08fc7437]
    That being said I am wondering if by running Applescript completely on the Classic side could solve the problem.

    Hope this helps!
