I need to import xml copy what are the steps involved. I am using quark 5.01. I looked at the import pdf supplied by quark and it tells me nothing on how to do this. Manuals are useless.

    Thanks for any help

XML is imported into QuarkXPress (both 5 and 6) by creating placeholders. It is kind of like creating a MS Word mailmerge document. You can then import the XML into the placeholders and style the placeholders as you want them. You'll need to select show placeholders from the view menu (I think).

If you are really serious about XML import for QuarkXPress, check out www.easypress.com. They do a product called Atomik Roundtrip which is the ultimate tool for importing (and re-exporting) XML into QuarkXPress.

Based on XML we have created one DTD for it.

Now in place holder we have placed details like skuid,full_name,product properties details.

    Our requirement:

We have one full image path for product in XML , we need to display product image for each product.

by the place holder text content dynamically increase according to xml file content .
but we are unable to locate picture dynamically.it shows only the first product picture.
    constraints we found:
no dynamic increment of textbox like text
i hope someone will suggest me,and i am waiting for your reply.Advance thanks.
