Exporting and saving Quark document in HTML

I am brand new to Quark. I have a newsletter that was designed in Quark and is saved in Quark's standard format. I'm trying to figure out how to save the document in HTML so I can send it as an HTML email. I notice that in File/Export there is an HTML option however it is shaded out as if it is not available. Is this because I have Quark Express and not a full-feature version or is it the actual file, or is it something else completely? Thanks in advance for any help, suggestions.

Please avoid double-posting. It's bad forum etiquette.

And really, your post should have been in the Web Features forum.

    Cheers,

    Hi,

Which version of Quark are you using and which platform?

Have you tried using "Save as.." and then saved your document as HTML? I think that should work, as it should for XML.

Thanks for the response. I am using 6.1. I didn't see HTML as a file/save-as option. Is web page (xml) the same?

If you open the quark doc you have. Then from the Layout > Layouty Properties window > select web and then whatever settings you might need when you close the properties window you now have the option to export as HTML from the file export menu. Hope it helps.
