I have been using the papyrus font just fine then it says it is missing when I open my document, I try to replace it and it is not in the list. Papyrus is in the Font Book. I have deleted the font and added it back in to font book, restarted a bunch. Did first aid, deleted library caches. And for some reason Papyrus won't transfer to the Quark document. I had replaced other fonts okay, so it is only Papyrus that is missing. I have added the Papyrus Font Suitcase and the Postscript Type 1 outline font to font book. Thanks for any help.

Clean out Quarks font cache. If your using version 7 I have no idea how tho. For version 6 here is a script to do it for ya.

You could also try cleaning the system font cache, for that use this.

thanks for the info. I downloaded fontfinagler and it didn't make Papyrus available in Quark. I have an email to them going.
When you say clean out quarks font cache using the scriptbuilders, I am lost. I do have 6.5 Quark and I am looking at the page, but I don't know anything about scripts. Is "Quark 6 Font reset 2.0" a program to buy? It says it is freeware, but where do you go to get it.

I've been having lots of font issues with Q7.3 (Mac OS 10.4.10). I learned about FontNuke on an earlier post. I've been using it for a couple of months with great success. It's a free download and very easy to use. Although the name sounds a bit terrifying, it basically clears out your font caches. Here are a couple of links.
