Hello, my computer crashed and I had to wipe the hard drive clean. I'm now reinstalling all my programs, including Quark 4.1. I have the 4.0 and the 4.1 CDs but when I put them in they ask me to insert Disk 1 in the floppy drive. There is no floppy drive. What do I do? Quark tech support says too bad.

You can visit the following link for informtion on installing QuarkXPress on a floppy less mac. Since the QuarkXPress 4.1 installer is no longer available you can create an image of the floppy disks and install.

Isn't Quark providing the 4.1 CD installer as mentioned on this page any more?

If that's so, Quark needs to revise the page.

You said you have a CD for QuarkXPress 4.1. It that an updater or an upgrader?
If you have an upgrader you can do a complete reinstall with just that one CD. It's tricky .................. but possible. :wink:
