    Page Layout indication

    Hello,

Just a simple thing I am missing. In the Page Layout window, the page number you are currently on used to have nice bold outline, so you could see at a glance where you were.

The indication is now bold - but only just - and I am struggling to see where I am!

Told you it was simple. Big Smile

Yup, that's a simple suggestion and I can appreciate it too. I've forwarded it to product management.

I too really miss the bolding reference!!!

It's been causing me enormous grief and I'm a long time user Quark user so know how to confirm my page reference. I hate to think how a new user could keep track of where they are, it could get kind of ugly.

I hope it is fixed soon......

Disappointed this hasn't made its way into 7.31 - it can actually cause problems if you want to delete spreads, and you are not sure exactly where you are. I know there are other ways, but this shouldn't have disappeared in the first place! I think my suggestion was left in the box when it was emptied

I notice that the highlighting problem for the screen percentage in the bottom left of the page has been fixed though. :)

My eyes aren't what they used to be so I put 36-point bold page numbers (command 3) in the outside margins of all master pages. I move them to the pasteboard before proofing to clients. Then I put them back in again when it's time to handle corrections, and so on.

why don't you put them in a seperate layer and turn that on/of.
saves a lot of moving around boxes?

Good idea. I'll give it a shot.

    Thanks, rb.
