No 'Interactive Layout' option in menu - Mac OS X 10.5

I'm using the latest update of Quark Xpress (7.31) with the most current version of Interactive Designer on my iMac with OS X 10.5.

There's no 'Interactive Layout' option available within the menu selections when accessing File > New > Project. (Choose Interactive from the Layout Type drop-down menu.)

Is this a known issue (which you're currently addressing) regarding Apple - Leopard?

    Hi Steve,

Quark XPress 7.31 with Interactvie Designer 1.01 on iMAC OS X 10.5 should give you option for creating new Interactive Project.

    Please try out these step:
    1. Delete Quark XPress old Prefernces (if possible) and launch Quark XPress with fresh Preferences. In case you do not want to delete complete preferences then try to delete Interactive Designer preferences (Interactive.prf) from Users> Library > Preferences> Quark folder.

    2. After launching Quark XPress go to Utilities menu > Xtension Manager and check if Interactive Designer xtension is loaded properly.

Please try out these steps and let me know, if these worked out for you.

I would like to let you know about a known issue of QuID 1.01 on Leopard OS X that "Export does not work on Leopard". The issue would be taken care soon.

    Best wishes

    Thank you for your reply.

After speaking with one of your support technicians over the phone, I learned that there is an additional step involved in accessing the 'Interactive Layout' option when creating a new 'Interactive' document.

After accessing the 'File' menu, select 'New' and then 'Project'. Once the 'Project' window opens, click on the orange logo (which is actually a button) in the bottom left corner of the 'Project' window. It is in this next window where one can find the choices for the types of layouts available for a given project.

    Hi All,

Just a comment to say that I am successfully exporting SWF objects when I export the HTML from a site. I upgraded to Leopard over the holiday break. So far, no issues with XPress or QID!

iCal, on the other hand, is giving me grief!

    Cheers,
