how to load 32 bit flash player on 64 bit machine

Hi. i have a 64 bit windows machine and unfortunately, there's no 64 bit flash player. so, i am unable to import swf files into the web portion of quarkxpress, nor am i able to view the flash content of the quark website. supposedly, there's a way to get the 32 bit player to work.
    can anyone help with this?

    regards,
    sue

Sadly, I have no idea how to work around this, but I will keep looking into it to see if there is a hack or work around that might be available... and there is no real indication of when Adobe will have a player that does work on 64 bit systems... per the Adobe labs (and the release notes for Flash Player 9 Update 3, listed here http://labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php/Flash_Player):

"When will a 64-bit version of Adobe Flash Player for Linux be available?

The Adobe Flash Player team is working on support for 64-bit platforms as part of our ongoing commitment to the cross-platform compatibility of Adobe Flash Player. We have not yet announced timing or release dates."

As soon as I find something, I will be sure to post it here.

There are some rumblings on various message bords that if you run the 32 bit version of IE or other browsers (e.g. Firefox, Opera, et al.) as your default, it could/should work but I haven't seen any responses that seem completely authoritative (i.e. none claiming to have done it and providing explicit steps).

    I'll keep looking
