6.52 - No Full Res Preview Preference?

My version 6.52 has not Full Res preview option at all under preferences. I think I may also be missing other preferences as well. Does anyone know how to fix these?

Hi melanie63, You need to have the Full Resolution Preview XT active in the XTensions Manager in order to select it in the preferences pane. See in Utilities > XTensions Manager.

Thanks rcantin, but that extension is not in my XTensions Manager. I wonder if this is something I can re-install from my Xpress installers without re-installing everything?

I'm pretty sure you can download it from the Quark's website depending on which platform you work on. Just put the XT in the Xtensions folder and reload QuarkXPress. No need for installation.

    Hi Melanie63,

You don't mention which platform you are using in your post. However, there was a seperate CD distributed that contained the Full Resolution Preview XT. Rcantin is correct, If you don't have the CD you can download the XTension from the Quark web site at:

    Windows: http://www.quark.com/service/desktop/downloads/details.jsp?idx=561
    Macintosh: http://www.quark.com/service/desktop/downloads/details.jsp?idx=560

Once you have downloaded the XTension you can install it without having to re-install the entire application.
