    Drop shadows on top of CMYK colors

    I am creating a series of brochures that incorporate images with drop shadows that appear over CMYK colors. They look fine in the PDFs, but when they are printed to a Konica color printer there are faint borders visible in the CMYK area. Is there a solution for this? Thanks!

    By any chance, is your trapping set to overprint?
