    Hi

    Does anyone know how I can acquire a plug in for Quark 7.3 for planning magazines.

    Perhaps these guys http://www.xchangeuk.com/ will have something you need?

    By planning magazines do you mean paginating them in to printer's pairs? If so do you really need to do this? Most folk work to visual spreads and then let the printer plan up pairs as they require - that'd save you the cost of imposition software or extensions, plus the time required to learn how to use them!

    You will not need any special software.  We send in individual pdf pages simply named 1, 2, 3, Our printer does all of the printer spreads, etc.  Makes life easier and saves a few dollars.  We use Quite a Box of Tricks from Quite software.  It is an extension to Acrobat.  We can click on a picture to cgeck the dpi and the fonbts to be sure they are embedded.  Other than that, its Quark 7.31.

    Hi, Hilary,

    are you looking for a solution to impose (rearrange) pages or for somethign to plan you magazine (structure, ads etc.)?

    I understand you look for the latter. Search for "flat planning" and you shoudl find several in the web.
