    Quark Tech Support

I had to create a new user profile in order to post on these boards, I received a prompt " The username and/or password

cannot be validated, or your account is locked out or has not been approved yet."

Customer support's reply was to just create a new user name with a new email address.

I have yet to receive a response from last week as to why they are unable to fix my access info.

Has anyone else gotten this lazy response, or is it just me? Fortunately, I haven't had to deal with tech support, so I'm

not sure if this is just one person or department wide. Just curious.

JJ. Sorry JJ2, I stand corrected.

It is supposed to be NY, but it feels more like a void lately. Stick out tongue

    JJ,

I will help you resolve your original account issue.  I sent an email to the address associated with this JJ2 account.

    Re: Quark Tech Support

I figured I would post here since I usually do not get a response when I email, I emailed anyway just because I can.

Matt, thank you for trying to fix my issue. However, I received an email late last night saying my password has been changed
and received a link to take me to the sign in prompt. Now for the million dollar question, what has my password been changed to?
I end up back at square one with my original problem.

     JJ,

I sent an email the other day with a temp password.  Guess it didn't come through.  I just sent another email and will also PM it to you on your JJ2 account.

    Re: Quark Tech Support

I have just (hopefully) solved this problem -- was sent an email about some server change for the Quark forum (sorry, it was a long time ago now...), and kept getting the same error message as JJ2 describes. I replied to emails from Quark, no response. I sent message via the "help" link for the forum, but this went to Telligent Support who said they were unable to help with the problem. I then had a live chat three days running with someone at Quark tech support (ignoring the obligatory check boxes that only deal with the Quark application, not the forum), who promised me that I would receive an email with a new password ("within 2-3 hours"). Well, it was 2-3 days. This is a test to see if it actually works now...

If anybody with Forum admin is listening, please look at the help settings for people having problems getting into the forums. We can't post our problems if we cannot log in!

     Thanks......

I am sorry for all the run around you got.  I will address the help link as soon as possible.

    Thanks!

I am having problems right now in order to be able to even post a problem that I have.

What problems do you have? -- It seems you are actually able to post.
