    Any file saving extensions...

that can help me save directly from 6.5 to version 3. I have 6.5 at home but am needing to do work for a company that still use 3. I know I can save to 5 to 4 to 3 but it is a long way to do this and I don't have v5 or 4! Any info gratefully accepted

No version of Quark will save back more than one version - changing the extension (though they aren't different between 6 and 3) wont make a blind bit of difference.

Only thought if you don't have access to the intermediate versions is to get Markzware's utility - can't remember what it's called - that lets you save down through near enough all versions.

Remember the file will, almost certainly, 'fall to pieces' and will need thorough checking to make sure what you had in v6 is what you get in v3!

    Good luck,

    Greg

Big Smile That'd be nice - freebie! Sorry mate, it's a complicated thing to repurpose a later version to an earlier version hence so few (well one) utility being available to do it, and that carrying a fee (quite a reasonable one though, I think).

    Good luck.
