6.52 Crash on start

    6.52 Crash on start

    All of a sudden, out of the blue, Quark 6.52 has quit and I get "The application QuarkSPress quit unexpectedly" now. Can someone tell me what now? I cannot launch the application.

    Tried deleting the preferences?

    If that doesn't work you could try moving all Xtensions to the disabled folder then having another go - if that works then it's possibly a corrupt/incompatible Xtension.

    Lastly I've had occasions when a specific font causes an instant crash. The solution there is to clear out the font caches.

    Information about your OS will help so I (or someone else) can give you more specific instructions if you need them.

    Delete the preferences and try to launch again...

    You would have a folder named "Preferences" in Quark directory, empty it. If the folder doesn't exist create a new one.

    Thank you. The first preferences folder I found earlier was empty. Finally found the correct one. We are up and running, so far so good. Thanks! Have a great day!
