Quark will not make a beta available publicly, as we are already past beta.

Expect Test Drives (aka Trial aka Evaluation aka Demo version) to be downloadable from our website as well as shipping of the Release Version of QuarkXPress 8 the latest by end of July 2008.

I'm sure that the term "beta" actually meant the upcoming release version of the program, as with most of quark's recent releases.

Sure, I understand. And Quark offers such programs if you are interested, they are called ServicePlus and QuarkAssurance.

Well let's try your sense of humour on this then.

Since I don't want 7.31 and don't use it, because it's too 'flakey', (I use a free copy of 6.5 provided by Quark Europe, because I asked for my money back on Q7), can I send it back and exchange it for Q8, in the hope that it works better?
