I'm quite happy with the present version of Suitcase Fusion.

But if I want the Quark 8 extension I have to upgrade? I don't like my arm being twisted ...

    PowerMac G5, 2.7DP, 8Gb RAM; OSX 10.4.11 and 10.5.8 (on separate drives). (Also a PowerMac 7300 that's still running Quark 4.1 on OS 8.6 ...)

So is the fact that Suitcase Fusion 2 needs OSX 10.5!

I use 10.4 and am not going to upgrade to 10.5 - so if I want to use Quark 8 it's goodbye Suitcase.

OK - so how about FontAgent Pro? Any comments from anyone - will it work (auto-activate)  with Quark 8?

Not sure about FontAgent Pro. I tried it for a day and totally lost it with it. It hasn't any for-seeable plug ins for XP8 as far as their site goes. Fusion 2 however, has lots of font fixes for me so I am kinda happy at the mo...

No plans to "upgrade" to Leopard here, either. But I've been very happy with Font Agent Pro, and I'm sure they'll have a Quark 8 XTension coming. I'll wait...

     Hello Tremolounge,

I believe the best way would be to contact InsiderSoft support.

Font Agent Pro 4.0.3 has added support for QuarkXPress 8 according to independent websites, but the same is not stated on the InsiderSoft website.

    Support Information:

    http://www.insidersoftware.com/IC_contact.php

Please let me know if you have any further questions regarding QuarkXPress.
