Is there a new version of Xpert Tools for Quark 8?

    Is there a new version of Xpert Tools for Quark 8?

    Hi,

    Is there a new version of Xpert Tools pro available for the new QuarkXpress 8.0? I know some of the XTensions have been included in Quark 8.0, but what about the others? Such as Xpert print, nudge, Fit Text and etc.

    Xpert Tools for Quark 8? Why not a quark 8 version??? Why??? Quark give it with the quark 7 and nobody's do anything for the quark 8! :(( Guy

    the reason is simple, we decided to properly integrate XPert Tools into QuarkXPress. That means, localize it for the non-English users, make the palettes integratable into the palette sets and so on.

    And add more features, e.g. add Drop Shadows into Item Styles and allow Search/Replace for Drop Shadows.

    With QuarkXPress 8.0 we added the first bunch, now QuarkXPress 8.1 adds some more (like Scale!).

    I would like to know where in Quark 8.2 I can find the Xpert scale tool... I really need it!

     the problem is that quark never redid the different print options in quark 8.- that were in xpert tools guess they dont think we need them

    I guess this will be my one and only post since future posts will have to be in the InDesign CS4 forum.  I've been with Quark since before there was dirt and I'll miss a lot of things about it.  Upgrading from 7 to 8 only to learn that they failed to completely integrate xpert tools just reminds me of some of the things I won't miss about it (like the upgrade from 4 to 5).  Bye everyone, see you on the other side.

    On my Windows install of 8.12, its at the end of the Windows menu item.
