    No More NEW Documents

Just upgraded from 7.31 to 7.5 this morning.

Can open already created documents just fine.

No matter what type of NEW document I try to create, Quark quits as soon as I hit OK. Nothing else is running. Doesn't matter if Suitcase is running or not. Reinstalled the system components. Deleted the preferences file.

    Same end result every time.

     Software and Computer details below.

    Thanks, Ken G

To get rid of the preferences, you have to delete the whole folder (Your user/Library/Preferences/Quark/QuarkXPress 7.0), not just XPress Preferences.prf.

The next thing to try would be to deactivate all your Xtensions by moving the Xtensions folder out of the Quark application folder. Possible that some of them (XPert Tools Pro?) need to be updated too.
