 Hi, hope someone can help. I purchased quark 8 and i am having problems with the drop caps the first 3 or 4 chapter will be fine then all a sudden the dropcap will jump up above the text like I have a huge baseline shift on but i don't. A client just called and griped me out saying I cost him 900.00 because of this. the mystry is if I export the document as a project to my older 7.2 software it looks fine the drops are fixed so it is a 8.0 problem I just don't know what it is, or what is going on.  any help would be appreciated  :(

 Hey, coul you verify by moving the text box a bit. It might help.. It could be kind of refreshing/ text calcing issue.

I don't know if they found an answer, but it might be worth a look.

FYI, Sofa Threads is not the best place for a specific QuarkXPress question - QuarkXPress General is the best forum to use.

This bug has not been fixed by the 8.01 update. The only solution I have discovered is to break the text chain just before Drop Caps fail, start a new text box and begin a new text chain.
