    Because I'm quite happy with 10.4; tried 10.5 and didn't like it.

    PowerMac G5, 2.7DP, 8Gb RAM; OSX 10.4.11 and 10.5.8 (on separate drives). (Also a PowerMac 7300 that's still running Quark 4.1 on OS 8.6 ...)

    It does take some getting use to I admit but, with tweaks here and there it is by far better than 10.4. I think that all applications will run on 10.5+ or maybe 10.6 Snowleopard by this time 2010. Quark included if, they ever get to version 9. But I doubt it with the rise of ID.

     Snowleopard due this year - and for Intel Macs only. So I won't be upgrading to 10.6;

    I've since put Leopard on an external drive and loaded the latest version. But I'll need to upgrade quite a few apps before I can use it fully.
