I don't know if this is a bug or something else:
We have a problem with Quark8 & our documents (a series of books).
We use pictograms, build up as initials (3 characters are shown as one pictogram; the text next to it is wrapped over 2 lines.)
From Quark4 until Quark7 there were no problems at all, but in Quark8, we have problems with some of the initials.
The problem: all settings are right, but the text wrapping is completely wrong.
In each separate document (of over 60 books) , the problem starts from p.54, 55 or 56.
Until p.53 all text wrapping is OK, but from 54 and on, it's wrong. The text lines jump outside the text box.
There are no differences in settings, between the initials until p.53, and on the other hand p.54 etc.
When we export the document as a project in version 7, and someone opens it in Quark7, the problem disapears.
But I need the problem to be solved in Quark8, and we didn't succeed to do so.
(i.e. me, a freelance dtp'er, and my advisors, a prepress and a system manager)
(At the moment it seems to be my problem ... for I am the only one to work with Q8, the others still work with Q7.
Unfortunately, I couldn't purchase Quark7, since it wasn't available anymore at the time I purchased Quark.)
We don't know if this is a (until Quark7 hidden) problem in our documents, or a bug in Quark8, or something in between...
I hope there's someone who can help me out!
