Hi,
I wrote, edited and published a 388 page textbook with a very special design of extremely deep indexing and up to 1 to 10 margin notes on each page. I did it in quark v 3.1, - which I still have on harddisk, but opening it even in classic makes a brief attempt, but reports: QXP has been damaged ! Thus, I cannot even get to know its serial number, which I understand, from an answer from chopra to another, in this forum, might point a way.
I have downloaded a trial Quark v 8, but my old files can neither be opened from that ressource. And the quark Infos explicates, that they cannot deal with anything older than version 6.
The project is VERY important to me, because I want to re-launch the danish language book (Title: In and Out of Theories of Personality) as an opensource free IT-learning wiki -( see http://bjerg.psy.ku.dk) related to my offer of a - likewise free- cross-platform electronic diary software (see: www.phenomenalog.dk).
If help could be optimized by my sending the old quark-files to somebody, I can send them as attachments to a mail.
Hopefully
Kresten Bjerg
