Quark Problems with Leopard on New MacBook Pro

I recently purchased a new MBP and am trying to run Quark 7.2. When attempting to open a library Quark crashes. I've tried to run the 7.5 update. But am getting the following error:

an error prevented the update from completing. 11500:2,-14

Any ideas why libraries would be crashing Quark?

Is there a way I can download the 7.5 version directly without running the updater?

    Any other suggestions?

    Please help!

    Hi,

The direct installer for QuarkXPress 7.5 is available at the URL below:

    Windows:-http://www.quark.com/service/desktop/downloads/download.cfm?idx=730

    Macintosh:-http://www.quark.com/service/desktop/downloads/download.cfm?idx=729

Please remove the QuarkXPress 7.2 and install the latest 7.5 using the installer downloaded from the URL above.

    I hope this helps!

By way of explanation as to why you are crashing and therefore should update to 7.5: XPress7.31 was the first update certified to run in Leopard. Any version before 7.31 isn't certified to run in Leopard. Since you have 7.2, you're crashing.
