    Light Color Tints Not Displaying

My version of Quark 7 is not displaying tints lighter than 15% accurately. Wither black, cyan or PMS 340, the picture box displays 5%, 8% 11% as pretty much a white box. Only seems to be in Quark, an EPS of the pages displays the correct tints in the RIP.And a PDF of the page looks fine as well.

Thank you for any insight correcting this display.

Verify what color profile you have applied under your Preferences > Display > Monitor Profile. On my test machine, running QuarkXPress 7.5 on OSX 10.5.6, a 10% cyan is clearly visible, and displays equally in Quark, in a PDF, or in any other imaging application.

At 5%, the tint is practically invisible, but that seems to me a limitation of today's electronic displays and/or our human perception.
