I changed my pc and OS, now I can not install QuarkXPress...

My previous OS was Windows XP and I was using QuarkXPress Passport 7.0 ... Now my OS is Vista Home but I can not install my 7.0 CD... Is there any way to install 7.5 without any CD? or what should I do?

There is a simple solution: go to this page and download the QuarkXPress 7.5 installer. Instead of the "30-day Evaluation", you will select "full installation" when you launch the installer. Possibly it will ask you first to uninstall QuarkXPress 7.0 -- you can do that through the Windows Control Panel (under Add and remove programs).

I have the same problem except that I'm using version 6.1 updated to 6.5. It worked perfectly on XP but I now have a new Notebook with Vista Home Premium pre-installed. I installed from the Quark Disk and all seemed fine until I actually used the programme. I have now set the Compatibility mode to XP but keep getting out of memory error messages. Is there a similar installer solution for me too?

Just to clarify -  It's the Passport Edition 6.1/6.5 I'm using.

If you are running Quark 6 then the situation is completely different -- QuarkXPress 7 is compatible with Vista since 7.2, while QuarkXPress 6 is not compatible and will not be ported to Vista. There is no solution here, other than downgrading your OS or upgrading the software.

Hmmm! That's what I was afraid of. Thanks for the fast response - at least I now know the score!
