Is there anyway to get the code for an image?

I've already created my image on QuarkXPress Passport, but is there anyway to get the code to the image? I read the help section where it says that QuarkXPress is made so you never have to see a code, but i really need the code. Can anyone please help me?

What code do you want to see?

Also, when you say you've "created my image on QuarkXPress Passport" do you mean you have placed an image created by another program, or actually created the image by using only the tools native to Quark? And by image, do you mean an actual image (photo or drawing), or are you referring to what ever is on the page (text, graphics, etc.)?

I want to see the HTML codeing for the image. By image I mean graphic that I've placed and edited(added external links) on Quark. The reason i need the code is to put the graphic on a myspace layout, but I cant get the code. So is there anyway I can get that kind of code?

I use Quark for print, not for designing web pages, so I'm sorry that I can't help you with HTML. Someone will probably reply with an answer, so keep an eye on this thread for a while.

    Hi Shane,

If you have created a print layout. you need to change the layout to web layout.

You can do that by saving the document as a different name of the print layout so that you have two copies of the same document.

    Then Click on layout>>layout>>Properties

Change the layout Type to web and click on OK

Now export the layout as HTML from File>>Export>>layout as HTML.

Then open that HTML file in note pad, text edit or any browser and view source in the browser

    I hope this information helps

    Thanks for the help wingman.

When I did what you said, it did give me a code, but im not real sure it will work on myspace.

But I will try and see what happens.
