Hi
Just saw this post and as I'm the other person who enquired about anti-alaising problems thought I'd mention the only easy option around this.
Use Super-pixel fonts. I know a lot of people don't like them but nearly all flash sites use them where small type is required. You can get larger sizes as well but all must be used at 8pt in quark. They also need to be on whole numbers - no fraction of pixels. When viewed at 100% they are pin sharp, the down side is that if you zoom in or use the web browser options to enlarge text they pixelate. I now keep my sites at 100%.
It's not a completely satisfactory solution but until this technical problem is solved - there's not much you can do. I still can't understand why other people on this forum haven't noticed this. There's a lot of discussion on Flash forums about this and that's where I heard about the super-pixel fonts. They are pixel fonts with small grey elements that surround the pixels, giving the text a smoother look.
You may not like them but I've warmed to them.
Sorry it's not better news for you.
Cheers
