Trying to update OuarkXpress 7.3.1 to 7.5 on G5 PowerMac running 10.5.6. Get error say can't continue with updater error 11500:2, -14 What file do I need to fix?

Try *installing* 7.5 rather than updating 7.31. I think it's safer.

I have a problem. We are running a sandbox configuration. We have no network usage because the administration believes the Macs cause problems on the network. So I have 130 macs to take care of one at a time. I have to install software or do corrections on each mac by themselves. I have imaged the 130 macs. So to download and install the update on 130 macs is a problem. I could download and install then re image 130 macs. It would be easier to replace a file or delete a corrupted file than to re image all 130 macs. Do you know what the error message 11500:2 -14 means when updating QuarkXpress?

Please launch QuarkXPress and check the version from the splash screen or the Environment window.

Press and hold the Ctrl + option keys and then press E to know the exact version of QuarkXPress installed.

In case you are using a QLA copy,you install QuarkXPress on one machine and then copy it on rest of the machines.
