Color issues in 7.5 mac 10.4.11

I'm having problems with my blues printing purple.  does any one know what is going on and if upgrading to 8 will make a difference?

Any info that any one would have that would be most helpful.

    Hi!

This is a well known question of the color management in general. I suggest you read this: http://www.brucelindbloom.com/index.html?MunsellCalcHelp.html#BluePurple.

Then I suggest you read Quark documentation on color management and see what's the best way in your workflow to get the best results you can.

    Hello,

Please try to change the Source Setup in the Application preferences.

    1. Open the document.

    2. Go to QuarkXPress > Preferences, select Color Manager.

    3. Under Source option, select source setup as QuarkXPress Emulate legacy.

    I hope thid helps.

Hi Jillisa, I would like to suggest you to select "AS IS" output setup while printing or exporting to output so that at least to it would try to match screen color to output. hope it helps you:-)
