I am using the demo of Quark 8, and beginning to appreciate its power, etc.
One question that seems almost pre-beginner level. If I make PDFs directly from Quark, is there any need for Acrobat Pro? The reason I ask, because of my work I can get the entire Adobe CS 4 Design Pro (with Acrobat pro included) for about double the price of an upgrade to Quark. I prefer to stay with Quark, but If I have to buy Acrobat Pro, then it would be more cost effective to just get the whole bag of programs from Adobe. BTW, I am not a professional designer, but have some specific projects that require the power of Quark/InDesign.
