    Location of Color Setups

Can anyone tell me where the color setups are stored in Quark 7 and 8. I want to be able to distribute some setups without having to go to each computer and import them. Thanks,

Colors are stored in the XPress Preferences file, which means if you distribute the entire file you'll be passing on a whole lot of settings. If you don't want to do that, just make the file available on a central server volume, then use Append from the File menu or the Edit Colors dialog and append the colors from the preference file.

I guess I wasn't clear about what I was looking for. I'm talking about the color management Source and Output color setups, not the colors in the color pallet.

Hi, I think, you can export all your output setups as one file or multiple files as per your requirement and distribute the same. Thanks.

I can export the output setups, but not the there is no way to export the source setup. However, I don't want the customers to have to import the setups manually. I want to have the files copied somewhere and have them load automatically.

Ditto, I want to do the same. It would be nice to have an .xml file somewhere that it referenced. Swap my file in to place and be done with it. At the very least if I could export the settings. But no. I have to append from a project file instead to accomplish my intentions. Poor planning Quark. Heck, you can even see where the EXPORT button would sit...IF IT WERE ENABLED !! Lazy programmers obviously. "Hello, Adobe?"
