I am "blessed" in my new job with working in PowerPoint, and I can't figure out how the heck to place an image so it clips out.

No clipping path, of course, because PP won't understand that. And no channel. I thought that with a white background, if I saved it as GIF transparent, that would work--but it ain't. It still shows the white.

Mission accomplished.

Once I remembered that you have to be totally illogical in order to accomplish anything with an MS product, I figured it out in no time.

 You have my heartfelt sympathy!

It was horrible, and I apologize for not visiting here more often.

It's not that I've gotten so good at Quark that I don't need this place.

It's just that my job now is so mind-numbing that I know enough to get by.
