Hi,

 I am new, so please be gentle. I currently have version Quark 7.5 and Adobe 7.0. I keep having problems when exporting files to pdf's. For a file of approx 20 pages it is taking around 1hr or alternatively it will not export at all. Please could anyone give me an idea of what I am doing wrong??

For MAC

Please install the Cups filter available at:

http://downloads.quark.com/Details.aspx?fid=117&

and then restart the computer. 

Navigate to HDD//users//current user//Library//Preferences//Quark//QuarkXPress 7

and Rename the folder named QuarkXPress 7 to "old QuarkXPress 7" at the above location

Following are the steps that can be tried on PC:

• Navigate to My Computer/ C Drive //Documents and Settings//your User name//Application Data//Quark//QuarkXPress 7
• Rename the folder named QuarkXPress 7 to "old QuarkXPress 7" at the above location
•  Now open a new document in Quark and then import some images into it.
• Try creating the PDF of the the new files and check how it works.
• Check with the old files as well.
