    Formating hyperlinks

I am a designing a web site. I am using hyperlinks to work the menu. I have tried to format the hyperlinks using the below method form "help", this is not working. Formatting hyperlinks By default, hyperlinked text is underlined and colored according to the default colors defined in the Layout Properties dialog box (Layout > Layout Properties). You can override the default appearance of individual hyperlinks by selecting the specific word(s) in the hyperlink and applying the desired formatting (color, size, and font). If you change the formatting of a paragraph that contains hyperlinked text, the hyperlinks will reflect the font and font-size changes of the paragraph, while retaining their default color and underlined text formatting. I want to maintain certain colors that are not part of Default. I do not want to show an underline.

You wrote "<I want to maintain certain colors that are not part of Default. I do not want to show an underline.>"

To achieve this you need to select the text and apply local formattings. To remove underline select the hyperlink text, select text styles icon "f" in measurement palette and deselect 'underline' option.

    Hope it helps

I have the same problem: "How can I remove the underline of hyperlinks"?

This don't work: "To remove underline select the hyperlink text, select text styles icon "f" in measurement palette and deselect 'underline' option".

    Hi Rama,

Removing underline by selecting complete text on which hyperlink is applied and then removing underline formatting, should have worked. Could you please detail more about actions you are performing and the result you see?

You can also email me your file incase you are not able to solve the problem.

    Thanks,

    ~JB

Is there a way to remove the underline visible, but have an underline when the mouse hovers over it. I know about rollovers, but I want a rollover that doesn't turn the text to an image.

Hello joshua-martin, these sort of hide and show interactivity is possible in Interactive layout and not in directly in web layout. The only option in Web layout is of course you know it; is rollovers. Thanks, Jyoti
