    Missing Font

I work for a newspaper and we just recently upgraded from Quark 6.5 to Quark 8.02 One of the fonts that we use in the newspaper (New Century Schoolbook) always comes up missing when I open the template for the paper. I can click update and the type in the missing font and update it because it is actually there. Is there a way to not have to update all the time? The font is there I don't know why it shows it missing. Thank you

    Hello,

it seems that there are two versions of fonts.

The documents are using the different version of the same font than the one that you have installed on the system.

You would need to update the font as and when you will open the document and then save the documents.

Also try to restart the computer in safe boot so that the hidden caches for fonts could be cleared up

To start the MAC in safe boot hold the shift key down and then restart.

    I hope this helps!
