    Drop Shadow as a style

I can't work out how/where I can specify a style of drop shadow as part of a character style. Can it be done?

Say I use Helvetica 24pt with settings for drop shadow angle/depth/distance/colour. I  save that as a character style.

Then I use Helvetica 12pt ..... but my settings for drop shadow angle/depth/distance/colour will be different because of the smaller type size.

How do I set that as another character style?

It all seems to pick up some kind of global drop shadow style - unless I change the shadow manually

    Hi Kev,

If you are using  QuarkXPress 8.1 then you can use Item styles under window menu

we have added Drop Shadow tab in which you can save the Drop Shadow Style also

     I hope this information helps

     Thanks for the answer

I'm on 8.02 and hadn't got round to updating yet. So that's a reason to do it.

At least it proves that I wasn't missing something earlier
