I signed up for a monthly account on Lynda.com and watched the turtorials for InDesign last week. I am currently converting all my active jobs that were started in Quark, to InDesign.
I'm sorry to say it, but QuarkXPress is a dead horse. I've known this for years but I've always ignored things like printers saying, "you are the only client we have that still uses Quark." Or clinets specifically asking me "to lay this out in InDesign in case we need our in-house people to tweak it later."
It's been a good run Quark, over 10 years for me, but the time has come to move on. I will miss having an alien delete my boxes with a laser.
P.S. - Quark-to-HTML? What where you guys thinking?
