Quark 7 glitch: certain letters being typed twice when using specific dictionaries

I have encountered a rather odd glitch in Quark 7.31: When using the Swedish dictionary, words with one "s" automatically gets an extra "s" when hyphenated, so that there is an "s" before and one after the hyphen. Only way so far to resolve the issue is to change dictionary to for instance Danish or Norwegian, but then an entirely wrong set of hyphenation rules are applied. Any idea on how to get Quark to not insert an extra "s" on its own?!?

Are you sure the hyphenation is incorrect? It is a desired behavior in some languages to change spelling of a word when hyphenating. And there isn't any way to change that without modifying language. There is an option to change hyphenation methods if that helps. under Preferences > Paragraph > Swedish, change to Extended 2 or Enhanced. And you also might want to update to version 7.5
