Help!!! white marks on pdf around all pictures & text boxes

I export my quark file to PDF but i can see some fine white borders of pictures and text, which does not look good. You cannot see these marks on the quark document which makes me think it's my pdf printing settings. i tried both to print to Pdf and export as PDF but both with the same results.

Can anyone tell me how to remove these so when i can view my PDF with just the pictures & text i.e. no ugly watermarks?

Solution is probably really simply but i am a pretty novice user.

     Thanks in advance.

Export using Native Transparency (you'll need quark8.1) is the only definite fix to this problem.

With quark7 I've found that keeping the flattening res (and Distiller downsample image Settings) at 600ppi where possible keeps the edges to a minimum but Editing the PDF with Pitstop and deleting these extra white boxes has been a laborious workaround here on occasion, Also with quark7 avoid any use transparency near a a rotated picture, it almost always messes things up.
