    drop shadows disappear when I make a PDF

    I am trying to make a PDF. The file has a photo background and there is type on top of it. The type has a white drop shadow appllied. Whenever I make a PDF, no matter what resolution, I cannot get the drop shadow to show up. Any ideas?

    In XPress by default 'Multiply Drop Shadow' is selected i.e. drop shadow over prints on the background color, when shadow color is white 'Multiply Drop Shadow' will not work that’s why shadow is not printing in PDF. Whenever you have to print white as shadow color then you need to uncheck the 'Multiply Drop Shadow'.
