Double Sided printing issue with QuarkXPress 8.12 and a Toshiba eStudio5520c on a Mac

Hello, A client of mine recently upgraded their printer from I believe a Toshiba E-7000 to a new Toshiba eStudio5520c printer. The Toshiba personnel came out to set it up for them and got everything working great for them, drivers and everything set up correctly and seemingly working with most applications. However, problems came when the client attempted to print their magazine drafts from Quark the way they have always done as double sided pages with markups on the sides. The real kicker is that whenever a job is sent to the printer that is double sided it wont print, instead the printer either spits out a blank page or reports a job status error as though the job that was sent to it is trying to access paper in a drawer that has no paper (even though the drawer has paper in it,) the specific error is "no paper in the bypass tray." The same jobs print fine single sided with no other changes. Also, this issue is not restricted to one machine but has been an issue for all three computers in the design office. One thing to note is that when the magazine drafts are saved as PDFs we are able to print them double sided, so for now we have a workaround, and based on these I am fairly confident in concluding that the problem is between Quark and the Printer in some way. At first I figured there was a PPD error but have got Quark set up with the correct PPDs and have the printer set up with the correct drivers, and every other application is able to print fine. Since this I have tried many things such as clearing Quark Caches and system caches to no avail. I was wondering if anyone had any more insight into this issue than I as I have extremely limited Quark experience. Some other information that might be useful is that the Computer is an Intel iMac running 10.5.8. Thanks for any help in advance! -Josh
