    Florie:
since I use the Zoom feature so frequently, I'm not happy that I lost the one-key (Command) option.

So why don’t you use the Ctrl-drag shortcut? It’s so easy!

(Still trying to understand why sometimes a picture changes size in one direction and not the other ... )

I’m not with you. What are you trying to do, what are your expectations and what’s happening?

Changing the size of a photo, sometimes it'll become 75% by 72.1% – haven't figure out how that happens yet.

It's that Control SHIFT thing I'm complaining about. It's an awkward pair when one's using it constantly. You're saying there's a way to change that? I'll go back and look at your previous comment.

Are you saying that under the System Keyboard prefs > Keyboard Shortcuts > Appllication Shortcuts ... (add Quark) then I have to find out how to type a Control or Command symbol there.

In v9 you can lock proportions of an image or of a box. Or with keyboard shortcuts you can Cmd-Shift-drag the plain blue rounded handles of a selected image in order to constrain props. (Cmd-Alt-Shift-drag would shrink or grow from center.) HTH.

Oh sorry! I was just saying Quark app prefs > etc. (from within Quark: Cmd-Alt-Shift-Y) Have you got it?
