7.2 files grow with each save

While editing a brochure I noticed that after each save (I save often as a rule) the document grows in size. I am not adding anything to the brochure, just editing text changes. But each save adds about 1MB to the document size. I started with a 1MB document this morning and now am up to 9MB. What gives???

What happens when you save-as instead of save?

    Hi, Jim,
We have a known issue with regards to updating images and saving in QuarkXPress 7.2. This issue has been resolved and will be in our next maintenance release which will be available for free in the next couple of weeks.
In the meanwhile, and for projects previously saved with the "file bloat," appending a layout into a new project will reduce the size. Create a new project, then go to File > Append... select the original project and choose to append Layouts.

That approach seems to work with small documents, but I am having trouble appending a 24-page piece. Any tips?

    Hi, lfmoise,
Is it just taking a long time to append? Does that document have a lot of other resources in it (lots of style sheets, colors H&Js in use)?
