File > Export > Layout as Project.
Then in the bottom of the dialog box you'll find a pop-up menu. Choose Version 7.0.

Ok, I got it
Control + Shift + Alternate + DELETE in V7.5 OSX 10.4.11

Are you talking about the little robot who kills a picture box with a laser gun ? Last time I saw it was on a Mac with QuarkXPress 3.32 !
In which platform and version are you seeing it?
-
My mistake Ace..
Hard Disk > Library > Preferences > Quark...
But now as I understand what you are after, I'm not sure I can help you more on this.

Hi Scripting_Ace,
There is a empty Quark folder in Hard Disk > Library > Quark.
Well not really empty because the invisible files in it are involves in the activation process. Delete this folder and launching QuarkXPress will call for activation. Not sure if that's what you want to do. Best is to back up this folder before...

Personally I found the installation of the QuarkXPress 8 upgrade very simple comparatively to the QuarkXPress 7 upgrade.
Just a click to request the validation from Quark's site and a copy/paste to enter it... As long as you enter the right serial number of course.
-
Hi Misstee38,
I have to admit that I did enter the bad serial number in the install process, that's why the validation code was invalid. So be sure to type the good one!

7.02 was bad... Update to the latest version available, for instance 7.5.

Thanks AD, thats what I thought. After trying to install it on two G4, I had problem to enter the validation code. And anyway there is no G4 Intel, isn't it? But now I'm done and the app run fine.
