Hi eYoungren,Thanks for your quick response. Have already installed the xtension compressedImage Import.xnt in the quark xtension folder. Eventhough we are gettng the same problem.If any other idea to get around this problem........Thanks,thajudeen

Hi,If we cropped the greyscale tiff image in Quarkxpress 6.5, then printed as Postscript, it automatically converts 8-bit image to 1-bit. The same image is printed through the quark 4 or 5, it prints correctly without any problem. When we are analyzing came to know that the xtension called LZW Import is used in quark 4 and 5.
