I am working in QuarkXpress 7.5. I often size images to 100 per cent in picture boxes, and save the file (naturally). Many thanks - we'll look closely at the file names and see if we can work out which of these restrictions apply We are on Macs, too, and work with both Mac and PC images supplied to us, so we'll look at the range of file names first. G

Working in 7.5 I am finding that in Usage>Pictures where I used to find that QuarkXpress flagged up that other missing pictures are in the same folder as the first image to be updated, and could all be automatically updated, this no longer seems to happen and I have to find each image individually and manually update them one by one. Working in v7.5 at a certain point on my 24 inch iMac screen the ruler guide dragged down from the ruler at the top of the screen disappears unless the page is shown at a larger size. This has not happened on any previous computers or versions of QuarkXpress. Is this a new thing? Thanks. G

I posted this a few minutes ago - it may be that I'm working late! It is possible that I set up the text box in the Version 3 with the style modifications, so please ignore this posting for now. Apologies to Forum members, as this could be 'operator error'. G
