    Picture Link Optimizer?

    Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone knows of an XT that will resize and replace (with the resized images) picture links in Quark? For example, I have a page that contains 25 images. Each image is scaled down to 30% actual size (in Quark). It takes quite a while to go into photoshop and resize these images (so they're being used @ 100% in Quark) and replace them all back into Quark. If there was an XT that could do this, that would save so much time!

I use a plugin (http://www.zevrix.com/linkoptimizer.html) that does this with InDesign (also crops the images to the size being used in the app as well) and you can't even imagine the amount of time (and space) this saves — I would *LOVE* to have a version of this for Quark!!!!

If anyone can suggest anything, please let me know!
    Thanks,
    Kristin.

I am looking at Docuslim but haven't decided if i will use it enough. It's the EV I'm looking at but depends on just what your needs are. It gives you the ability to specify a safety area in case you have to make crop adjustments later. Sounds very similliar to the ID one you use.

Let me know what you think.

It sounds great but i've already spent a fortune in upgrades and new xtensions.

One of the ones I'm most impressed with is Badia BigPicture, have found it incredibly useful.
