Hello XML experts!
(sorry for my crossposting!)
For the production of a series of gift books we are introducing XML-import into our publishing company.
DTD and XML files are spooled out of a "Tamino"-XML Server and are validated.
I'm successfull in importing the *text* into a simple layout:
left pages: headline and 2 sentences text
via place holders and style sheets.
But we do not succeed to get the referenced *pictures* into the corresponding right pages! The frame accepts the place holder for the pict - but it doesn not apperar in "real view" modus.
QUESTIONS:
-> Are there any hints or suggestions?
-> How must spell the path, if the pictures are situated in a sub-directory (named "pictures") to the folder, where the QXP-Doc resides?
-> Is there a better manual, exept the 30 pages in the XML-import-PDF?
