I don't wish to go into too much detail, but we've just upgraded from 4.11 to 5.0 & 6.1.
Received the CDs direct from Quark too.
Installed 5.0 onto 10.3.4 G5 system running Classic. Using QLA 3.1.1 to manage licenses.
I am logged in as admin, but cannot get 5.01 updater to work. The watch just keeps spinning with "Gathering information..." message on screen. I presume it is looking for a version of 5.0 to update.
I am able to run Quark XPress 5.0, save docs and open them so I guess it works.
I have quit the app before trying to update.
Any ideas?
